Junior Districts' rehearsals are Friday and Saturday with the performance on Saturday at Waltham HS.
Mark Hickey for Larry Hough: Larry wants to thank everyone who has helped with winter percussion. It is going well.
Mark Hickey: The Steppin' Out Concert is scheduled for March 18 with performances by the concert band, jazz band, winter percussion, and brass ensembles. March 27-29 is the All State Festival at Symphony Hall. Five students will be participating. New Uniforms: Invitation for bids is going out tomorrow to 3 uniform companies. Also there will be a notice in the paper asking for bids. Bids are due back March 28. Once the town approves the budget, then the uniforms will be ordered. Washington DC trip: Meeting for parents and students will be Wednesday, March 26 at 7:30 pm. A packet of information will be distributed and questions will be answered. Rooming lists have been decided and students will sign up for buses this week. Four buses will be going. Mark is still waiting to hear whether or not they will be allowed to tour the White House. The rest of the schedule can not be finalized until they know about the White House tour. Mark has contacted someone in the President's own band and unfortunately all of the major ensembles will be on tour at the time of the trip.
Jeremy Denzer: The winter guard had a great opening weekend last Saturday. So far, the winter percussion group is first in the district, and the winter guard is second. The winter guard has received positive feedback on their performance. The schedule is as follows:
- March 8: winter guard at Wrentham HS
- March 15: winter guard and percussion at Mansfield HS
- March 29: winter guard and percussion at Everett HS
- April 5: percussion finals at Dartmouth HS

Coffee Sale: Wendy Bryson: 25 students in the 8th grade sold coffee. $812 was earned for their accounts. More order forms were turned in after vacation and more are coming in.
Golf Tournament: Walter Foster. The committee is looking at venues for the fall tournament. Harvard wants ABFOM back. Devens Red Tail and Wedgwood are also possibilities. The committee needs to pick a date. Those attending the board meeting suggested a Friday would be preferred if there was not a football game and asked the committee to avoid school open houses and holidays.
Web Site: Peter Norton. He is preparing the web site for the Washington trip. Jim Conoby will take pictures on the trip for the web site.
St. Patrick's Day Parade: Mark said that the Superintendent had received a complaint about the parade committee's discrimination policy as to which groups to include, so the ABRHS band will not be participating this year.
A motion was made, seconded, and accepted to adjourn. Next meeting: March 31, 2008, 7pm, Room 115N.
