Captains/Open House

2010 / 2011 Colorguard captains announced.
Congratulations to Megan Joyce and Gina Zewiey for being selected as the 2010 / 2011 captains of the Acton Boxborough Colorguard.

Colorguard Open House
On Wednesday June 2nd the Acton Boxborough Colorguard will be hosting an open house for all students in grades 7-12. We are currently looking for new members for the upcoming fall season. The open house will be from 2:30 - 3:30 at Leary field and then from 4:00 - 5:00 at the gazebo. Come join the fun and invite your friends.

Colorguard Summer Rehearsals

Colorguard summer rehearsals will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:30. Rehearsals will be at the gazebo behind the high school. Rehearsals will be on 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3 and 8/10.

Rehearsals are not mandatory, however students are encouraged to attend as many as possible so that we can prepare for the upcoming fall season.

Winter Guard 2010 Season Wrap-up

The AB winterguard presented their 2010 program "Taylor the Latte Boy" to excited crowds throughout New England during the months of February and March. The program was filled with comedy, heartwarming charm, theatrics and strong colorguard skills. Staged in a coffee shop and dressed in preppy argyle the students brought the story of young love to life. Flag designs that included hearts and coffee cups accentuated the theme. The judging community was very appreciative and commented on how innovative the program was in it's approach to entertainment. They also commented on the strong training of our students at AB. The guard finished the season with a fantastic crowd pleasing performance and a fourth place finish at the NESBA championships. The guard staff included Jeremy Denzer, Gina Nye and Diana Anderson. The guard captains were Shannon Joyce and Grace Warwick.
